This website (NOIR & OUD — The Fragrance Atelier) is an interactive portfolio demonstration developed by HS Web Studio. It does not represent an actual operating retailer, does not accept actual financial transactions, and does not process live payment cards.
1. Local Storage (localStorage) Usage
This application uses your browser's native localStorage purely to remember your active fragrance bag items, applied promotion codes (e.g. WELCOME10), saved wishlist perfumes, and recently viewed products. No tracking cookies or advertising pixels are deployed.
2. Checkout Simulation
Information submitted into the simulated checkout form (such as recipient name, simulated phone number, and delivery city) is stored temporarily in memory for generating the sample confirmation receipt. It is never transmitted to an external server or sold to third parties.
3. WhatsApp Ordering Flow
When utilizing the WhatsApp Ordering feature, the website generates a text message containing your selected perfumes and opens your device's WhatsApp application. Communications over WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted under Meta's WhatsApp terms.
4. Production Deployment for Perfume Retailers
When adapted for an actual client business, HS Web Studio implements enterprise SSL encryption, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways, and localized privacy policies adhering to Pakistan's Data Protection Framework.
